Getting to MeiSauna

Þægileg bílastæði í nágrenninu: Nokkur almenningsbílastæði eru í göngufæri frá MeiSauna, sem gerir gestum sem koma akandi þægilegt fyrir.

Stóra bílastæðið við Hof er góður kostur og þaðan eru aðeins nokkrar mínútur að ganga að gufubaðinu.

Við mælum með að mæta nokkrum mínútum áður en bókaður tími hefst til að hafa nægan tíma til að leggja, skrá sig inn og undirbúa heimsóknina.

Staðsetning MeiSauna í hjarta Akureyrar gerir einnig auðvelt að sameina gufubaðsupplifunina heimsókn á veitingastað, menningarviðburð, verslun eða aðra afþreyingu sem bærinn hefur upp á að bjóða.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. super friendly hosts. I think we had expectations because of the pictures which were not met, that’s why it was no 5 stars.
Pro:
-Sauna preheated when you arrive
-Super communication
-Private sauna obviously nice!
-good price for what you get
Con:
-We think the pictures in the post are a bit confusing because it’s not anymore at the spot you can see but at a harbour, we were a bit disappointed
-Quiet dirty (waterstains on windows/the oven), in general used-look, again not like the first picture.. :)
-oily water, didn’t felt great to swim in. A outdoor shower would be super nice!
-many ships passing by, some guys even waved at me?!(something the owner obviously can not control)
-some ladies stept on the sauna-island on the outside and  looked inside through the window while we were at the sauna, also a downer. But again something the owner can’t control.:)

Maybe just a bad day and still a nice experience and to recommend.:)

Are there locker room, showers and toilets on site?

Yes, each sauna has their own locker room, and outside there are cold showers on site by using water hose
In near proximity, in the Hof cultural center there are public toilets.
